Pro mountain bike rider spends $622K in Santa Cruz

Cameron McCaul bought a three-bedroom, two bath at 645 14th Ave. in Santa Cruz for $622,000 from Albert and Aidalyn Gamelon on March 6.
The Gamelons paid $730,000 for the home in Nov. 2005.
McCaul is a professional mountain bike rider and a partner with Aptos Productions, a film production company based in Aptos that documents the rides of a number of Northern California mountain bike riders and bike racers. He's competed in a number of professional races in the United States and abroad, including his first place finish in the 2006 Red Bull District Ride in Nuremberg, Germany.
