Joshua Fodor bought a three-bedroom, two bath at 125 Walk Circle in Santa Cruz for $735,000 from Vincent Guel Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth, on March 12.
The Guels paid $519,000 for the home in Sept. 2007.
The 1,482 square foot home was listed for $749,000. It was built in 1938.
Fodor is the CEO of Central Coast Wilds, an ecological consulting and restoration company based in Santa Cruz. He is a plant ecologist and an agroecologist, and he founded the company in 1992.
He earned his bachelor's degrees in Plant Ecology and Environmental Studies from the University of California-Santa Cruz (1990).
Mr. Guel has served as the director for staffing for Tabula Inc., a technology company based in Santa Clara.
Mrs. Guel is the CEO of Kids Ink, a Santa Cruz-based company that sells children's furniture, classroom storage centers and toys. She's run the company since Feb. 2005.
She also is a real estate agent for Navarro & Associates Realty in Santa Cruz. She's worked for the company since 1998.
