Psychologist sells for $1.25M in Aptos

Dr. Amy Cayton and her husband, Robert, sold their four-bedroom, 3.5 bath at 100 Angora Lane in Aptos for $1.25 million to Craig and Ana Dobler on March 28.
The Caytons paid $1.55 million for the property in Nov. 2005.
The 3,621 square foot home sold for its listed price.
Dr. Cayton is a private psychologist and a core faulty member at John F. Kennedy University. She teaches Buddhist psychology and basic addiction studies at the school's Campbell campus, and has been on the staff since 2003.
She also specializes in Buddhist psychology and addiction recovery in her private practice, which she has operated since 1990.
She previously spent 10 years as an instructor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences at the University of California-Santa Cruz.
She earned her Ph.D. in sociology from the University of California-Santa Cruz (1988) and her master's in counseling psychology from California Baptist University in Riverside ('88). She also has a master's in sociology from UC-Santa Cruz ('77) and bachelor's in English literature from UC-Santa Cruz ('72).
