David deMilo and his wife, Jane, bought a four-bedroom, 2 bath at 295 Bethany Dr. in Scotts Valley for $600,000 from Alan Simmons and his wife, Joanne, on June 24.
 
Mr. and Mrs. Simmons paid $579,000 for the home in Feb. 2005.
 
The deMilos own and operate Photodock, a family photography studio in Los Gatos that specializes in social, portrait and fine art photography.

Mr. deMilo is a photographer and a digital media technologist, specializing in social photography and streetscapes. He graduated from Harvard.

Mrs. deMilo is also a photographer, specializing in both studio and natural portraiture. She is also an illustrator and graphic designer. She earned a bachelor's degree in fine arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She also studied at New York University and the Museum School in Boston.
