Artist sells for $1.065M in Santa Cruz

Kent Bond sold a three-bedroom, 2.5 bath home at 171 30th Ave. in Santa Cruz for $1.065 million to the Stewart Trust on Aug. 19.

Bond paid $800,000 for the property in Jan. 2004.

Bond is a Santa Cruz-based artist who has been featured in several exhibitions in California. His art is focused on drawing and painting the human form.

He received a bachelor's degree in painting from the California College of Arts and Crafts, now known as the College of the Arts in Oakland. He also earned a master's in painting from UC Berkeley.
